Volleyball Recap: Vinton County Comes Up Short

Vinton County lost against Chillicothe back in September of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vikings took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cavaliers. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Vinton County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Chillicothe, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Coming up, Vinton County will face off against Nelsonville-York at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chillicothe, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Unioto on the 30th.
