Softball Game Preview: Chicago Christian Knights vs. Chicago Hope Academy

The Chicago Christian Knights will head out to challenge Chicago Hope Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Chicago Christian has struggled recently with 12 defeats in a row, while Chicago Hope Academy will arrive with three straight wins.

Chicago Christian couldn't beat Chicago Hope Academy on Monday even though they stacked six runs on them in the second inning. The Knights fell 12-8 to Chicago Hope Academy. Even though they lost, the Knights' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.2 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

For Chicago Hope Academy's part, Lina Wilson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched.
