Baseball Recap: South Central Falcons vs. Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs

South Central can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs as the South Central Falcons made off with a 16-4 win. Winning may never get old, but South Central sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

South Central let Brody Stallings and Rahkeem Williams loose on the outfield. Stallings scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances, while Williams scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Mason Hobbs was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

On Northside - Jacksonville's side, they saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sylus Havrilla, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Mayhew, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases.

Even though they lost, Northside - Jacksonville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. That's the best batting average they've managed all season.

South Central pushed their record up to 18-4 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Northside - Jacksonville, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
