Football Recap: Crossett Takes a Loss

Crossett extended their losing streak to six on Thursday, dropping them down to 2-8. They were beaten by the Warren Lumberjacks 66-34. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 42-14 to the Lumberjacks when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Warren, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 28 points or more this season.

Jackson Denton produced another solid effort throwing for 231 yards and five TDs. He has been hot, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last six times he's played.

Crossett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Warren, they will square off against Gentry at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Lumberjacks' defense better be ready for this one: the Pioneers have averaged an impressive 31.1 points per game this season.
