Volleyball Recap: Vance County Takes a Loss

Vance County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 30th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the East Wake Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 11th.

Vance County was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring zero points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Vance County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for East Wake, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Vance County will square off against rival Franklinton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, East Wake is set to challenge their familiar foe Knightdale at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
