Basketball Recap: St. Thomas Aquinas Comes Up Short

St. Thomas Aquinas has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 54-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Derryfield Cougars on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Saints have lost by exactly seven points.

St. Thomas Aquinas' loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Derryfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.
