Basketball Recap: St. Cloud Tech Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses at Home

St. Cloud Tech got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They secured a 60-56 W over the Rocori Spartans on Tuesday. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 87-85 victory the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

St. Cloud Tech's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-9. As for Rocori, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-9.

St. Cloud Tech has already played their next game (against Fergus Falls), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Rocori will be playing at home against Willmar at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Willmar knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Rocori likes a good challenge.
