Basketball Recap: Chassell Comes Up Short

Chassell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost to the Lake Linden-Hubbell Lakes on the road by a 68-50 margin. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lakes earlier this season, when they won 60-59.

Chassell's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Lake Linden-Hubbell, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 2-18.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chassell will head out to face off against Baraga at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Linden-Hubbell, they will venture away from home to square off against Dollar Bay at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Dollar Bay will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Lake Linden-Hubbell surely won't give up without a fight.
