Softball Recap: Downingtown West Takes a Loss

Downingtown West blew Bayard Rustin out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Bayard Rustin got their revenge. The Whippets fell just short of the Golden Knights by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Whippets have suffered since June 7, 2024.

Downingtown West saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Casey McWilliams, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4. Kenzi Noles also deserves some recognition as she hit her first doubles of the season.
