Volleyball Recap: Hampton Roads Academy Comes Up Short

Hampton Roads Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Summit Christian Academy Eagles. If the Navigators were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Eagles when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 23-25, 25-12.

Hampton Roads Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Summit Christian Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hampton Roads Academy will head out to take on Saint Gertrude at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Summit Christian Academy, they will challenge Spirit HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
