Christian Educational Consortium hadn't done well against Bluegrass United recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Christian Educational Consortium Cougars enjoyed a cozy 56-40 win over the Bluegrass United Bluehawks. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Bluehawks back in January, they had to take a 51-48 loss.

Leading Christian Educational Consortium to victory were Deven Moore and Hunter Fleming. Moore went 7 of 15 on his way to 18 points, while Fleming dropped a double-double with ten points and ten boards. What's more, Moore also racked up three assists, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Chase Williams, who posted nine points.

Despite the defeat, Bluegrass United had strong showings from Everett Pieratt, who went 6 for 13 to rack up 17 points and five rebounds, and Elliot Higginbotham, who scored six points and nine boards. Pieratt is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last three games he's played.

Christian Educational Consortium's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Bluegrass United, they dropped their record down to 6-18 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
