Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask NCSSM: Durham). Everything went their way against the Research Triangle Raptors on Wednesday as NCSSM: Durham made off with a 9-0 win. The victory continues a trend for NCSSM: Durham in their matchups with Research Triangle: they've now won four in a row.

NCSSM: Durham's offense was hitting Research Triangle from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Hannah Amadi led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

NCSSM: Durham's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-4-1. As for Research Triangle, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6-1.

Coming up, NCSSM: Durham will square off against Franklin Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. NCSSM: Durham's defense better be ready for this one: Franklin Academy has averaged an impressive 4.2 goals per game this season. As for Research Triangle, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Falls Lake at 6:00 p.m. on April 7.
