Basketball Recap: Palm Desert Piles Up the Points Against Cajon

Palm Desert picked up another tournament win on Monday. They breezed past the Cajon Cowboys to the tune of 80-49. The Aztecs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 31 points or more this season.

Paul Dreisbach was his usual excellent self, going 8-for-18 en route to 19 points in addition to seven assists and four steals. The game was his sixth in a row with at least 19 points. Wil Wilson was another key player, shooting 50% from the field to rack up 15 points and five assists.

Palm Desert's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Cajon, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-3.

Palm Desert didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-49 win against Upland on the 25th. As for Cajon, they will challenge Valley Christian at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
