Volleyball Recap: Okeechobee Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Okeechobee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Edward's Pirates. If the Brahmans were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Pirates when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Okeechobee ultimately came up short, they really made St. Edward's work, particularly in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 20-25, 21-25, 26-24, 15-10.

Okeechobee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for St. Edward's, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Okeechobee will face off against Synergy Magnet K12 at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Edward's, they will challenge Pineapple Cove Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
