Soccer Game Preview: Greenwood vs. Big Spring

The Greenwood Rangers will head out to take on the Big Spring Steers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenwood has given up an average of 3.2 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Greenwood fell victim to Andrews and their airtight defense on Friday. They lost 7-0 to the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Big Spring). They were the clear victor by a 6-2 margin over Snyder on Friday. With the Steers ahead 4-1 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Greenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13-2. As for Big Spring, their victory bumped their record up to 5-13-2.
