Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marvin Ridge). They put the hurt on the Sun Valley Spartans with a sharp 13-4 victory on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-4 last Tuesday.

Marvin Ridge pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Sun Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.

Marvin Ridge will have a chance to go back-to-back against Sun Valley: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
