Twiggs Academy lost against David Emanuel Academy on January 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Twiggs Academy Trojans took a 52-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the David Emanuel Academy Eagles. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

David Emanuel Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Payton Peebles, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards. The dominant performance gave Peebles a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyli Bell, who posted ten points and five rebounds.

Twiggs Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for David Emanuel Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-12.
