Baseball Recap: Riverheads Comes Up Short

Riverheads and Buckingham squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Riverheads had to settle for second. They lost 8-0 to the Knights. Considering the last time the Gladiators couldn't score was back in April, the team can't take the result too hard.

The defeat snapped Riverheads' winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-6 record. As for Buckingham, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-1.

As of now, neither Riverheads nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
