Upson-Lee hadn't done well against Jackson recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Red Devils 2-1. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Red Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2023.

Ema Deems paced Upson-Lee's offense, picking up five kills. Deems got some help from Kaylin Gresham and her seven assists. Gresham was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

The win got Upson-Lee back to even at 7-7. As for Jackson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Upson-Lee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Osborne on the 23rd. As for Jackson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Shaw on the 23rd.
