It was a good run, but Sickles unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the East Lake Eagles. The Gryphons were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Amaya Robinson paced Sickles' offense, picking up nine kills. Robinson got some help from Madotti Garcia and her eight assists.

Sickles now has a losing record of 12-13. As for East Lake, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-3.

Sickles does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Lake, they will be playing at home against Largo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
