Baseball Game Preview: Buena Park Coyotes vs. Marina Vikings

The Buena Park Coyotes are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on the Marina Vikings at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Buena Park is leaving town to face Marina after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Coyotes lost 10-3 to Paramount on Tuesday.

Peter Agrusa was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.

On the hitting side, Buena Park saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrian Rolon, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. Another was Alex Blancas, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Marina kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against Dana Hills, falling 13-2. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 12 in a row.
