Botkins was the 42-39 winner over Jackson Center when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Botkins Trojans took a 58-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jackson Center Tigers on Friday. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Botkins' loss dropped their record down to 14-4. As for Jackson Center, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Botkins will welcome Russia at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th. As for Jackson Center, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Jackson Center Tigers duke it out with the Minster Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Minster has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
