Families Instructing Students HomeSchool came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 46-36 win over the Hardee Wildcats.

Families Instructing Students HomeSchool got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kalvin Kuhnke out in front who went 9 of 13 on his way to 20 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Howes, who went 9 for 16 en route to 19 points along with six rebounds and three blocks.

Despite the loss, Hardee saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Teagan VanSickle posted 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points VanSickle has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Victor Rodriguez, who scored eight points.

Families Instructing Students HomeSchool is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.6 points per game. As for Hardee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Families Instructing Students HomeSchool has already played their next contest, a 45-34 defeat against Florida College Academy on the 16th. As for Hardee, they will challenge Lake Placid at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hardee is facing Lake Placid at the right time seeing as Lake Placid is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
