Basketball Recap: Central City Comes Up Short

Central City lost against Springville back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Central City Wildcats fell 52-45 to the Springville Orioles. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly seven points.

This is the second loss in a row for Central City and nudges their season record down to 4-10. As for Springville, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Central City has already played their next contest (against Edgewood-Colesburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Springville will face off against East Buchanan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
