Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lebanon). Everything went their way against the Cookeville Cavaliers on Tuesday as they made off with a 16-6 win. The Blue Devils not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1st (when they won 15-2).

McKenzie Jordan tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off six hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

On the hitting side, Keeli Davis was incredible, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Alyssa Horne was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Lebanon kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matchups.

With the victory, Lebanon broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-13. As for Cookeville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Lebanon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-4 win against Hendersonville on the 22nd.
