Poly extended their postseason success on Thursday against St. Augustine. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 68-67 victory over the St. Augustine Saints. The Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Saints, too.

Poly's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-10. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 23.1 points. As for St. Augustine, the defeat snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 19-15 record.

Coming up, Poly will face off against Bakersfield Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bakersfield Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Poly likes a good challenge. St. Augustine does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
