Baseball Recap: Taft Falls Short of Chowchilla in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Taft can now relate to. They fell just short of the Chowchilla Tribe by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Taft saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cash Clark, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Taft's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Chowchilla, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-13.

Taft does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chowchilla, they will welcome Hanford West at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
