Hope won the last time they faced Tiverton and things went their way on Friday too. The Blue Wave breezed past the Tigers to the tune of 49-0. The high-scoring effort was just what the Blue Wave needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Hope found their leader in sophomore Neciah Jalloh, who rushed for 129 yards and a pair of scores on only nine carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards. Another player making a difference was Christopher Martinez, who gained 101 total yards and two touchdowns.

Hope didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Justin Marshall and Martinez. Martinez got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The victory got Hope back to even at 1-1. As for Tiverton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Hope has already played their next contest, a 14-6 win against Toll Gate on the 20th. Tiverton has also already played their next game (against Smithfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
