Baseball Recap: Chartiers-Houston Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Chartiers-Houston was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They fell 5-1 to the California Trojans. The Buccaneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2018.

Chartiers-Houston saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josiah Moushlian, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Chartiers-Houston has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for California, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9-2.

While Chartiers-Houston had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
