Marksville won against Montgomery on Thursday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Tigers beat the Holy Savior Menard Eagles by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-4. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won three games in a row.

Katie Lachney was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off ten hits. Lachney was even better at the plate, firing off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-4. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in March of 2025.
