Football Game Preview: Baird Bears vs. Eden Bulldogs

Baird is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Roby on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Eden, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They breezed past Bronte to the tune of 56-16 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won three contests by 40 points or more so far this season.

Eden pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 51.8 points this season. As for Baird, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
