Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westfield). They strolled past the La Porte Bulldogs with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 74-55. The victory was familiar territory for the Mustangs, who have now won three games in a row.

La Porte lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Nick Coleman, who shot 63% from the field to rack up 11 points and eight rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last four games he's played. Adyn Patterson was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Westfield's record now sits at 6-9. As for La Porte, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.

Westfield will be taking part in a tournament against Clear Springs at 9:30 a.m. on the 29th. La Porte will take on Clear Creek in a holiday battle at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
