Baseball Game Preview: Kennedy Titans vs. American Eagles

Kennedy is 9-1 against American since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Titans are taking a road trip to face off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Kennedy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Kennedy came out on top against Mission San Jose on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run sixth inning. The Titans sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Ethan Kennedy was a standout: he went 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. Kennedy is undefeated when Kennedy posts two or more runs, but 5-9 otherwise. Maximo Shaw was another key player, going 1-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Kennedy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for American's offense. They came up short against San Mateo on Saturday, falling 7-0. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

American's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Kennedy, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

Kennedy was able to grind out a solid victory over American in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, winning 6-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
