Cliff is 4-0 against Carrizozo since December of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Cliff Cowboys/Cowgirls will get right back to it and host the Carrizozo Grizzlies at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Cliff has ten straight victories, Carrizozo has 12 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Thursday, Cliff blew past Maxwell, posting a 54-12 win. The Cowboys/Cowgirls have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Carrizozo played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 47-24 to Alamo Navajo.

Cliff's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-0. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.0 points per game. As for Carrizozo, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.

Everything came up roses for Cliff against Carrizozo when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 58-26 win. Will Cliff repeat their success, or does Carrizozo have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
