Texico is 8-2 against Eunice since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Texico Wolverines will venture away from home to face off against the Eunice Cardinals at 6:00 p.m.

Texico easily dispatched Loving on Thursday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Texico fell just short of Fort Sumner/House by a score of 60-57 on Saturday. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with Fort Sumner/House recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, Eunice had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Bobcats, posting a 53-21 victory. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Texico's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Eunice, their win bumped their record up to 17-5.

Texico was able to grind out a solid victory over Eunice in their previous meeting back in January, winning 55-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Texico since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
