Baseball Recap: Cashton Find Success

While Cashton's win against Kickapoo wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over the Panthers on Tuesday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Cashton's victory bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Kickapoo, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Looking ahead, Cashton will square off against Elmwood/Plum City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.65 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Kickapoo, they are taking a road trip to challenge De Soto at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
