Soccer Recap: Chesterton Takes a Loss

Chesterton entered their match against Crown Point on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Trojans lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs. The game was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Chesterton it sure didn't stay that way.

Chesterton was without their leading scorer, Zarek Sierazy, in Wednesday's contest. With Sierazy sidelined, Alex Amaya got his first action of the season.

Chesterton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4-1. As for Crown Point, the win got them back to even at 4-4-2.

Looking ahead, Chesterton will head out on the road to challenge Harrison at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Crown Point, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hammond Central at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
