Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Prep's Undefeated Season over After Ten Games

Notre Dame Prep was the 2-1 winner over Perry when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Saints fell 2-0 to the Pumas on Saturday. The loss was the Saints' first of the season.

Their offense was headlined by Lauren Watson and Lucy Solorzano, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Elizabeth Hackleman and her nine assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, Notre Dame Prep fell to 9-1. As for Perry, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.

Notre Dame Prep will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sunrise Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Perry, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Xavier College Prep on the 6th.
