Pinewood Christian picks up sixth straight win on the road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Andrew's, the Pinewood Christian Patriots were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They blew past Edmund Burke Academy 53-27. That looming 53-27 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Pinewood Christian yet this season.

Edmund Burke Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grant Mobley, who scored ten points along with five rebounds. Braydon Tindell was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds.

Pinewood Christian pushed their record up to 10-5 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points per game. As for Edmund Burke Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Pinewood Christian will head out on the road to face off against Bulloch Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edmund Burke Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Augusta Prep Day at 7:30 p.m.
