Softball Recap: St. Mark's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Nine

St. Mark never let their opponents score on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Ursuline Academy Raiders as they made off with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won nine matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was St. Mark's ninth in a row) raised their record to 11-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for Ursuline Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

St. Mark's will take on Wilmington Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ursuline Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on William Penn at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
