Soccer Recap: Sturgis Takes a Loss

Sturgis lost against Lakeshore back in May of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trojans came up short against the Lancers, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Sturgis can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 292nd, while Lakeshore are ranked 36th).

This is the second loss in a row for Sturgis and nudges their season record down to 6-12-1. As for Lakeshore, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3-3.

As of now, neither Sturgis nor the Lancers have any future games scheduled.
