Football Recap: Weleetka Piles Up the Points Against Davenport + How To Watch

Weleetka won the last time they faced Davenport and things went their way on Friday too. The Outlaws took their contest with ease, bagging a 48-14 victory over the Bulldogs. The Outlaws pushed the score to 48-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.

Weleetka's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bryant Sites, who picked up 180 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 60 yards and one score. Kellen Sheneman was in the mix as well, providing the Outlaws with two TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Weleetka was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 247 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Davenport only rushed for 73 rushing yards.

Weleetka's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Weleetka will take on Dewar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Davenport, they will face off against Wetumka at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
