Volleyball Recap: Buckeye Central Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

Buckeye Central won the last time they faced Ridgedale, and Mayzie Hanlon did her part to make sure it happened again. The Bucks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rockets on Saturday for which the team can thank Hanlon, who had six digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Buckeye Central was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-15, 25-13.

The victory made it two in a row for Buckeye Central and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for Ridgedale, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Buckeye Central will host Bucyrus at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ridgedale, they will venture away from home to square off against Elgin at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
