Marked Tree's tournament run continued when they took on East Poinsett County on Saturday. Marked Tree narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past East Poinsett County 44-41.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hillcrest, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 69-24 victory over KIPP Blytheville. That 45 point margin sets a new team best for the Screamin Eagles this season.

Marked Tree's win was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for Hillcrest, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-9.

Everything came up roses for Marked Tree against Hillcrest in their previous meeting back in February, as the squad secured a 58-24 win. Will Marked Tree repeat their success, or does Hillcrest have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
