Volleyball Recap: Valhalla Comes Up Short

Valhalla saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Escondido Charter Tigers. The Norsemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eric Dempsey paced Valhalla's offense, picking up two kills. Dempsey got some help from Gno Casanova and his four assists. Dempsey was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Valhalla's defeat dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Escondido Charter, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Valhalla has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Fallbrook on the 28th. As for Escondido Charter, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against El Cajon Valley on the 28th.
