Hillcrest is a perfect 8-0 against Arlington since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Hillcrest Trojans will venture away from home to face off against the Arlington Lions at 5:15 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Hillcrest picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Vista del Lago. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Ravens: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Arlington got the win against Norte Vista on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

While Arlington won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-9, 25-23.

Hillcrest's victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Arlington, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Everything went Hillcrest's way against Arlington in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Hillcrest made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hillcrest since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
