Basketball Recap: Goffstown Comes Up Short

Goffstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Windham Jaguars 56-27. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Jaguars are ranked fifth).

Goffstown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Windham, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Goffstown will be playing in front of their home fans against Londonderry at 6:30 p.m. on January 21st. As for Windham, they will welcome Nashua South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Windham's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
