Volleyball Game Preview: Saint Francis Lancers vs. Rocklin Thunder + Official Tickets

The Saint Francis Lancers will head out on the road to face off against the Rocklin Thunder at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Saint Francis heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to Archbishop Mitty. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Lancers haven't been shut out since back in September.

While Saint Francis ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Rocklin came tearing into Saturday's match with 11 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Timberwolves as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Rocklin's victory bumped their record up to 34-4. As for Saint Francis, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 19-11 record.

Saint Francis beat Rocklin 2-0 when the teams last played back in September. Will the Lancers repeat their success, or do the Thunder have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
