Bellaire is 9-1 against Heights since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Bellaire Cardinals will host the Heights Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Bellaire's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Heights has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Bellaire's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Cesar E. Chavez 8-0. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won seven matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Cesar E. Chavez from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Mckenna Lindsay led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Heights' offense. They lost 4-0 to Lamar on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 408th, while the Texans are ranked 77th).

Bellaire is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those seven games. As for Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Bellaire beat Heights by a goal in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 1-0. Will Bellaire repeat their success, or does Heights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
