Volleyball Game Preview: Castle View Sabercats vs. Douglas County Huskies

The Castle View Sabercats will challenge the Douglas County Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Thursday, Castle View came up short against Chaparral and fell 3-1.

While Castle View ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 19-25, 25-21, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Douglas County waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Everything went their way against the Raiders as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 28-26.

Castle View's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3. As for Douglas County, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-1.

Castle View took their win against Douglas County in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Sabercats repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
